Here’s The Deal…

I started Digtial ViceGrip with one thought in mind: “What the #%@$ am I doing?”

You see I had no formal training in online marketing going in. But a business that I was helping build required some innovative marketing on a shoestring budget. The only thing we could afford was to do marketing online.

Its always amazing to re-visit the beginning of a thing after it has already come to pass. You can clearly see how much that timing and sometimes just dumb luck and God’s grace have to do with your success. I had no idea what I was doing as I was learning. I was hopelessly clueless in EVERY sense of the word.

Sometimes the only thing that keeps you going is the absolute refusal to give up. And with this as my fuel I kept pushing and learning and experimenting until, one day, things started to make sense. *fist pump*

Slowly but surely I started to learn the finer points of brand building, keyword research, SEO, PPC, marketing strategy, email marketing, driving traffic, reading analytics and various other marketing techniques.

I ended up being THAT guy who everyone always asks questions about their entrepreneurial endeavors and how the internet could help them get there.  I started to realize that I enjoyed helping people “see the light” and get to that “AHA!” moment. You know the one. It’s the exact moment when the fog lifts and things start to make sense.

I decided then that I would help as many small business owners and entrepreneurs as possible to get to that moment. And here is where we meet.

The Purpose

The Purpose of Digital ViceGrip is to teach, motivate and inspire small business owners and entrepreneurs to reach the highest potential in marketing their businesses online.

This can be achieved many ways depending on what’s most important to you. For some that means to generate tons of targeted leads. For others that means to double or triple their revenue. For some it’s to build and sustain a sizable database of potential clients.

I know the frustration, the helplessness, and the information overload can run wild. I hope to be able to add some actionable tips, tools, and perspectives to help you figure it all out.

I will also be offering my perspectives on business and life from time to time. Yep, so there will be some posts on personal development, philosophical insights, motivation and other stuff. Cool? Cool.
